Booking & Cancellation Terms:
  1. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract to confirm a booking fully.  This will be deducted from your final bill.
  2. The minimum crèche charge is for 2 hours.
  3. Confirmation of number of children is required at least one month in advance in order to produce final price.
  4. We require payment to be paid in full no more than 28 days prior to the event.
  5. Mia’s Magic reserves the right to cancel any bookings if payment is not received.
  6. Cancellation that is less than 2 weeks to the event will incur a fee of no less than 80%. 
 
Health & Safety:
  1. Mia’s Magic staff will visit the venue of your event prior to the day to check the safety, according to the OFSTED rules and work with the health & safety guidelines, of the area and environment we will be setting up.
  2. We will ask the venue that any objects deemed dangerous or unsafe for the children and staff to removed prior to our arrival on the day of the event.
  3. Mia’s Magic ensures that there is at least one first aid trained carer present on the day and always carries a first aid kit.
  4. Parents will be required to complete a registration form on arrival at which point the child will be given a wristband to wear whilst in our care.
  5. Our child to staff ration is within the OFSTED rules and regulations.
  6. All our equipment is checked regularly and conform to British Standards Regulations.
  7. Staff attending the event are CRB checked.
  8. Parents/Carers and event organisers are only allowed into the crèche environment.
  9. Due to the inoculation regime not having commenced, babies under the age of 3 months will not be cared for in the crèche.
  10. Any child, who constantly put the safety of other children into danger, by continually being disruptive, will be collected by there parents/carers.
  11. We will need permission from the parents before any photographs are taken of the children.
  12. We cannot give any medicine to children while they are in our care.
 
 
Environment Requirements:
  1. The children’s play space should be close to toilets and wash basins, with one set for every 10 children.
  2. All children’s areas should be safe, secure and clean.  The event organiser and venue are responsible for disposing of rubbish and clinical waste.
  3. For insurance and registration purposes, we must be able to lock all rooms so that our equipment is kept safe and secure at all times.
  4. There must be at least two electrical sockets available with access to running water and drainage.
  5. If mobile signal is weak in the area, a landline telephone for emergencies should be accessible.
  6. We will require venue’s fire and emergency procedures and instructions.  This will be on display for the parents, however it will be the responsibility of Mia’s Magic to evacuate the children in an emergency.  
 
 
We ask the Parents & Venue to Provide:
  1. The child’s completed registration form on arrival which includes the contact name and number if there is an emergency.
  2. Parents/carers must advise Mia’s Magic if their child suffers from any allergies or requires any specialist care.
  3. Tables, Chairs and Highchairs
  4. Nappies, Wipes and Disposal Bags
  5. Food and drink for all the children
  6. Travel cots or beds if children require a nap.
